Amanda Marie Farr and Joshua James Kiefer exchanged wedding vows Oct. 9 at Trinity United Methodist
Church, Bowling Green.
Pastor Eric McGlade led the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Lori Farr, Bowling Green. The groom is the son of James and
Nancy Kiefer, Stryker.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a princess-style A-line gown with clear crystal and blush
pink beading accenting each skirt pick-up. It was designed with a halter neckline and chapel train.
The bride’s sisters, Alicia West and Emily Farr, both of Beavercreek, were matron of honor and maid of
honor.
Bridesmaids were Brianna Farr, Bowling Green, sister of the bride; Emily Davis, Perrysburg; Katelin
Wrona, Mishawaka, Ind.; and Valerie Kiefer of Williams Center, sister of the groom. The attendants all
wore tea-length chocolate gowns with asymmetric bodices and A-line skirts.
Flower girl and ring bearer were the bride’s niece and nephew, Eleanor and Aiden West, Beavercreek.
Eleanor wore a white dress with brown flowers accenting the waist.
Zach Metcalf, Terre Haute, Ind., served as best man.
Ushers were the bride’s brother, Tyler Farr, and Nathan Foos, both of Bowling Green; Adam Stein, Custar;
Brad Knauss, Columbus; and Zach West of Beavercreek, brother-in-law of the bride.
A reception was held at the Junior Fair Building in Bowling Green, with music by Ultimate Nights DJ.
The newlyweds plan a honeymoon cruise to Alaska in May. They are at home at 14510 Bishop Road, Bowling
Green.
The bride graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2002 and from Bowling Green State University in
2007 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed as an account administrator
for Medical Mutual of Ohio.
The groom graduated from BGHS in 2001 and from Owens Community College in 2006 with an associate degree
in building maintenance. He is employed as head butcher at Jacoby’s Ole Smokehouse Meats.
