Who is C-Kan?

At the age of 16, and somewhat influenced by the music of his favorite groups, such as Cypress Hill and Control Machete, C-Kan decided to plan what would be his musical career as a singer and stand out from the rest. A year later, at a meeting of his neighborhood colleagues, the idea of ​​forming a hip hop group was born, in which he was not invited to participate. Each meeting, while they entertained with freestyles, their concern to write their own lyrics of him was born, thus making three tracks recorded on a cassette tape and with a recorder, which had a very good approval from his colleagues.

These songs that he recorded with great emotion and determination reached the hands of the producer and performer Doble D, who had a group in one of the most recognized crews in Guadalajara. Upon listening to his songs, he saw that he really had a great future ahead of him and he invited to record their songs in a more professional way. Thanks to the support of Double D, he managed to consolidate his first record material, which he called “Dark Side” . After a year , C-Kan   changed his crew because although he appreciated the support they had given him, he felt that it was not enough and that his career could still go further, and it is then, in 2006, when he put his first mixtape called “Get Money”.
