Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause mocked for hair blunder

A Selling Sunset star has been mocked for a blunder she made when posting an advert for an Australian hair styling tool.

Chrishell Stause, who rose to fame on the reality real estate show in the United States, recently shared an Instagram post using the Mermade Hair tool.

In the video, she showed followers how she crimped her hair to in order to get her signature soft wave look.

But during her tutorial, she made an awkward mistake that left fans “dying” of embarrassment.

Things started innocently enough, with the 41-year-old taking strands of hair and feeding it into the bright pink gadget.

“You guys often ask how I get my soft waves – here it is,” she said.

“I’ve shown you before, but this time I have an exclusive discount code with @mermade.hair which will give you the EARLY access to their BIG Black Friday sale.”

But, eagle-eyed social media users quickly flooded the comments section after spotting not all was right with the advertisement.

“GLOVE ON WRONG HAND,” one user said.

“Little tip – The glove goes on the hand that’s touching the hair. The one holding into the tool isn’t really at risk of burning. But love this look on you” another said.

One added: “Is the iron hot to hold? Or is your hair supposed to be hot? Cuz you are holding the tool with the gloved hand and it’s confusing me …”

“Tell me you don’t wear the glove without telling me you don’t wear the glove,” one said.

The pair have been linked since October 2021 but made their official confirmation of the relationship in May 2022.
