If you spent more time than you would have liked scrolling through TikTok in the past year, you might not want to know exactly what your usage is – but, in case you’re curious, you can now find that out.

The video-sharing app is not as forthright in providing data about your usage in the same way as YouTube or iTunes. But like Spotify Wrapped, users can now get an info dump of all they have seen, liked, commented or used emojis on.

The similarly named TikTok Wrapped allows users to look back at their activity from the past year and marvel or, perhaps more likely, baulk at the time spent using the addictive app.

What is TikTok Wrapped?

The feature is an information overload with all of your usage statistics from the past year in one place. Not one to recommend for heavy users wishing they had been more productive! It features the following:

• Total number of videos watched
• Total time spent watching videos
• Number of watch sessions
• Average time spent on TikTok
• Your favourite day of the week for watching TikTok
• Number of likes given
• The emoji you are most likely to use

And that’s not all, TikTok will also give you a persona – a phrase that describes the type of user you are.

How can I get my TikTok Wrapped 2023?

Here is the catch, after making the annual round-up easily accessible in 2021, TikTok has not rolled it out since.

To enable it, you can install another app called Wrapped for TikTok, but before you download it and get your data you need to follow these steps on regular TikTok.

• Go to the privacy settings and request to download the JSON version of the data from your profile.
• This will begin the download of your data. 
• Then go to the Wrapped for TikTok app and submit the files.
• Wrapped for TikTok will then give you all of the above information.
