Where is the Netflix original series Manifest filmed?

Netflix has become a favorite streamer to many viewers overnight. The streaming service has finally announced that it has acquired the wildly popular NBC series Manifest and added it to the Netflix original series lineup. This has made all the #SaveManifest campaigners beyond happy.

Manifest will indeed see a fourth season that will consist of 20 episodes on Netflix. The third season left viewers with many cliffhangers, so this will be a great opportunity to wrap up the storylines.

The fourth season will be the final for the series, but this allows the story to have a chance to conclude rather than end with so many unknowns. This is great news for the series, Netflix and the fandom who fought so hard to see this accomplished.

If you aren’t familiar with the series, Manifest is a story of 191 passengers on a flight from Jamaica to New York City on Flight 828 who experience a bit of turbulence. When they arrive at Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, New York, they discover that they have been gone for five years. Their families had assumed they were dead and had moved on with their lives. The passengers then start to experience voices and visions of events that have yet to occur.

The series Manifest is set in New York City, and many series that are set in NYC are filmed elsewhere. But Manifest is actually filmed in the Big Apple and its metro area. IMBD lists Queens as a filming location, which makes sense as Ben and Grace live there and is the location of Silvercup Studios. 

Another filming location listed on IMDB is Republic Airport in East Farmingdale, New York.

Showrunner Jeff Rake confirmed Astoria as a filming location on Twitter.

The Cinemaholic has also confirmed Astoria, W58th St., John Kay College of Criminal Justice, Queensbridge Park and Hunter’s Point South Park. There is also a confirmation of a BTS photo of filming in Miami, Florida on that site.
